AERODYNAMIC AIR-COOLED REAR ENGINE SEDAN

1950 TATRA TATRAPLAN
AERODYNAMIC AIR-COOLED REAR ENGINE SEDAN
Production Years: 1946-1951
Country: Czechoslovakia
Number Produced: 6,342
Designed just after the war, the Tatra Tatraplan was named to pay homage to the first Communist economic plan. It was a less expensive car than the T97, but in the same class. As in all Tatras, the engine (a boxer) of the Tatraplan was air-cooled. Some cars were exported to Canada and Belgium. Our car came from Belgium and is original except for a new coat of paint and some chrome plating.
Please note that the vehicles shown online are part of our collection but may not be on display when you visit. Our team is always in some stage of repair or restoration on a number of vehicles.
