1950 TATRA TATRAPLAN

AERODYNAMIC AIR-COOLED REAR ENGINE SEDAN

Production Years: 1946-1951

Country: Czechoslovakia

Number Produced: 6,342

Designed just after the war, the Tatra Tatraplan was named to pay homage to the first Communist economic plan. It was a less expensive car than the T97, but in the same class. As in all Tatras, the engine (a boxer) of the Tatraplan was air-cooled. Some cars were exported to Canada and Belgium. Our car came from Belgium and is original except for a new coat of paint and some chrome plating.
