DELOREAN

STAINLESS STEEL

Production Years: 1981 -1982
Country: Great Britain
Number Produced: 8,000

Built in Northern Ireland (UK Territory), the Delorean’s body is made of stainless steel, the same material we’ve used to build packaging machines for decades. That is one of the reasons we included an automobile, which is not yet vintage, into our collection.

Colin Chapman (from Lotus) designed the car with John DeLorean.

There just was not enough time or money. The problem, and subsequent fate, was the same as the Tucker.
