We’re excited to share a special new video featuring Avery Shoaf Unleashed and Olivier Cerf at the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum. In this visit, Avery explores the collection with fresh eyes and quickly discovers what makes the museum so different: these are not just rare cars, but vehicles chosen for the engineering ideas behind them. As Olivier explains, the collection began with a 1938 Panhard and grew from a fascination with innovation, from sleeve-valve engines to early front-wheel drive.

Throughout the tour, Avery reacts to vehicles he says he has only ever seen in pictures, while Olivier shares the stories behind some of the museum’s most unusual machines. The video highlights the museum’s focus on bold ideas, overlooked inventions and the strange, brilliant paths automotive history has taken. It also captures one of the things that makes this collection especially memorable: these cars are meant to run and be driven, not simply sit on display.

By the end of the visit, Avery sums it up best, saying the museum has things visitors will never see anywhere else in the world. We’re grateful to Avery Shoaf Unleashed for stopping by and sharing the experience with his audience.
