The Tampa Bay Automobile Museum has been nominated for Best Car Museum in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and we’re excited to share the news.

Supporters can vote once per day through Monday, April 27 at 11:59 a.m. EDT, with the top 10 winners announced on Wednesday, May 6 at noon EDT.

Now is a great time to visit the museum and experience our special exhibit, The Wankel Rotary Engine: Innovation That Never Went Mainstream. On view through April 30, 2026, the exhibit explores one of the most fascinating alternate paths in automotive history through a remarkable lineup of rotary-powered vehicles, including the NSU Spider, NSU Ro80, Mazda Cosmo Series II, Citroën GS Birotor, Norton Commander and Hercules W2000.
